- Q. Where is the Library located?
A. The Buena Park Library is located at 7150 La Palma Avenue between Knott and Western Avenues.

- Q. How do I get a Library Card?
A. Your library card is free with verification of your current address(i.e., a current California Driver's License or Identification card). Children under the age of 18 must have a parent or legal guardian present when obtaining a card. There is a fee of $1.00 to replace a lost library card.

- Q. How long may I borrow materials?
A. The loan period for books and audio books is 21 days. DVDs and magazines have a loan period of 7 days. All items, except DVDs, may be renewed twice if no other patron has placed a hold on them. You can access your account online to check due dates and renew the items you have out.
- Q. What if I return my items late?
A. A charge of 25 cents per day, per item is placed on your card if an item is overdue. The overdue charge for DVDs is $1.00 per day, per title.
- Q. How do I check out DVDs?
A. You must be at least 18 years old to check out DVDs. The loan period for DVDs is 7 days.
- Q. What about Obituary or Genealogy Requests?
A. The Library does not provide genealogical research assistance or obituary lookups. However, we have

- Q. May I request a Marriage or Birth Certificate at the
Library?
A. The library does not maintain or keep marriage or birth certificate records. To obtain that information, please refer to the following sources:
